Microblading

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is also known as a variety of names such as Embroidery, Microstroking, Micropigmentation, 3D/6D brows, and Feather touch. Microblading is the most natural form of semi permanent eyebrow make-up. The process results in the pigment being implanted into the skin. Designed to replicate your natural hair growth with individual strokes, it offers a fuller and thicker solution and gives the impression of hairs where there are none. The Strokes of Genius microblading company specializes in giving you fuller brows whilst ensuring your brows match your natural shape. Microblading is performed using a sterile blade consisting of 18 tiny needles which ultimately gives you the hair like strokes. This procedure usually lasts anywhere from 10 months to 2 years but at Strokes of Genuis we recommend you get it done yearly to keep everything looking fresh.

This treatment is ideal if you have sparse brows, have over plucked them or have no brows at all. It is great if you want to save time every morning and not have to fill and draw your eyebrows on. The treatment results in a much softer method than tattooing your brows and is looked at as a more natural enhancement.

MICROBLADING AND SHADING

Shading is a microblading procedure we generally do at the 6-8 week touch up but sometimes done the same day as microblading. When adding the shading component you can bring depth and complexity to your brows and really make them look more real. The benefit to shading is that it gives an authentic or real appearance to your brows. If the hairs you have are sparse and few and you would like to add some density then shading may be for you. Another benefit to shading is it makes your brows look like they are “done up” 24/7.
